About Easton Snowshoes

Easton has been in the snowshoe industry supplying aluminum and carbon fiber components for nearly 30 years before introducing their first line of snowshoes in 2008 that won them an award from Gear of the Year by Outside magazine. Easton’s reputation has grown world wide over the following years. Easton not only produces snowshoes, they also started manufacturing arrows in 1922, when founder Doug Easton was injured in a shotgun accident. His interest with archery and bow hunting peaked and the development and technology grew, first with durability and precision, then wood and later with lightweight aluminum arrows. Easton made snowshoes for other major brands like Tubbs, Atlas and GV Snowshoes that the public was not aware of. Eastern Mountain Sports was formed in 1985 and had the drive to develop quality and durable products that would improve the outdoor experience for individual’s world wide. Next came the manufacturing of tent poles, hockey sticks, tents and kayak paddles made out of high-strength materials that are known today. Easton is all about making their products durable and long lasting while using the highest quality of materials for each specific sport. Easton is all about protecting and priding themselves in human health, while also caring about the environment and the planet. Recyclable products have been added to their product lines for the earth conscience individuals that care about the environment and the planet as they do.
