I've had this hat for a couple months now and it has been great. The description is right about not being itchy. It is definitely a thick yarn and has a suprisingly good wind blockage for a knit hat (even with my super short hair).
Fits good, a little shallow on my head because I have a gigantic head, but doesn't squeeze too tight either which is great.
