The cuffs close by zipper to avoid snow from getting in and nose wipe thumb panels can be very beneficial when skiing long distances in the cold. The shell of the glove is made of Durable Water Resistant nylon and the palms are Rubbertec which ensures you can grip even if they're covered in snow.
