With its wind and water resistant body fabric, the Swift pant makes for perfect winter performance apparel. Part of the Flight Series, the Swift was designed for endurance athletes who prefer to jettison excess weight in the interest of speed. Utilizing the latest technologies and most innovative materials to shave weight and enable fast, light performance while still maintaining protection from the elements, North Face's Flight Series features the best in packable, adaptable, multi-purpose gear. The Swift is built with 100% polyester faille weave with a DWR coating to protect it against the elements and features polyester/elastane stretch knit panels for added flexibility. The waistband is outfitted with an elastic continuous drawstring and the front features two zippered hand pockets. The cuffs have zips that run up to the calves and have elastic grips on them. To increase visibility during evening and early morning exercises, North Face has placed reflective tape next to the calf zip and in the logos. UPF protected, the Swift offers an ultraviolet protection blocking out harmful UV rays while promoting wicking and breathability for comfort in hot climates. And, as usual with North Face apparel, the stitches in the Swift are flat-locked in critical areas to give the pant a lower profile with less abrasion.
